Rosy and I were all wet in this picture! The bathing beauties, four years old and two respectively, are ready for the backyard wading pool.

Rosy and I would play cowboys and Indians. Trouble was, we BOTH wanted to be Indians! Rosy was quite shy and didn't socialize much with the neighborhood big kids. She spent hours doing jigsaw puzzles, drawing and building miniature houses using Lincoln Logs, Popsicle sticks and Legos. She liked "boy" toys like erector sets, model cars and microscopes too.

We teased Rosy that she had a boyfriend! The wee patriot was visiting our neighbors the Powerlls to celebrate the Fourth of July. Their house is on the far left in this long ago picture.

Checking out the selection at the local Jukebox Diner in March 1997.

Rosy models one of her Christmas presents, a new suede skirt. This was taken in January 1992. She had just returned from West Palm Beach in early December.

Mike Hardesty's TV Repair/Books/Records/Antiques was the hub of Bailey's Crossroads in Northern Virginia. Lots of interesting people would stop by to see Mike and talk about philosophy, history, music or antiquarian books.
